Shree’s Vishranti Sthal (the place where Shree Maharaj used to take rest)

Shree’s Vishranti Sthal is located behind Shri Gajanan Maharaj Samadhi Mandir. The bed – regularly used by Shree and Shree’s Padukaare kept here for Darshan. Parayan Mandap (the grand, specious hall) facing Shree’s Vishranti Sthal facilitates a number of devotees who are totally engrossed in doing parayan (To read religious book with great faith in it) of Shree Gajanan Vijay Granth.

   

Shree’s Samadhi Grahan Sthal (the holy place where Shree Maharaj merged himself with Supreme Bramha):-

It is beside Shree’s Vishranti Sthal. On Bhadrapad Shuddha Panchami, Shake 1832 (8th September 1910) Shri Gajanan Maharaj concluded His incarnated life by Sanjeevan Samadhi. This place is co-mmemorated as Shree’s Samadhi Grahan Sthal. The idols of Shri Vithoba – Rukhumai are behind Shree’s Samadhi Garhan Sthal.Dhuni (the holy fire) ignited by Shree himself in those days (which are still in blaze) and pair of Forceps used by Shree are also near Shree’s Samadhi Grahan Sthal.

   

Parayan Mandap (A Grand Hall for Parayan)

A grand, specious hall is built facing Shree’s Vishranti Sthal, for devotees, coming from distant places to do Parayan of Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth written by ‘Sant Kavi Shri Dasganu Maharaj.’ Devotees in great number can sit at a time here in the serene and soothing ambience of the hall, having marble flooring and soft green carpet with a wooden desk for placing the Holy book on it. The hall provides all basic things needed for doing Parayan. Not only number of copies of Shri Gajanan Vijay Granthbut the optical of different vision are also kept ready for devotees for Parayan.Specially the large font copies of Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth are also kept here for senior citizens. In this hall the devotees can also meditate and chant / (psalm)‘Harinam’ without disturbing others. The volunteers not only help the devotee but strictly maintain silence in this hall which is its unique feature.
