Concept –

Out of 42 philanthropic activity of Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan, Shegaon, ‘Distribution of Bhajani Sahitya to Bhajani Dindi’ is one of the important tasks. It is distributed on the holy occasions of Shri Pragat Din, Shri Ram Navami and Shri Punyatithi Utsav and on Aashadhi and Kartiki Wari at branch Shri Kshetra Pandharpur, on Paush Vadya Wariatbranch ShriKshetraTryambakeshwar and onKartik Vadya Wari at branch ShriKshetraAalandi.

 

The Bhajani Dindies coming from various part of Maharashtra and other state are given 10 pairs of cymbals (10 Tal), 1 Mrudang and 1 Veena and also Sant Wangmay (Literature of Saints) such as Shri Dnyaneshwari, Shri Tukaram Maharaj Abhang Gatha and Shri Eknathi Bhagawat at free of cost as BhajaniSahitya.Sofor 13,212BhajaniDindis from 61 districts of Maharashtra and other states have been provided BhajaniSahitya by Shegaon Sansthan.

In order to initiate the spiritual activities as per Warkari Sampradaya(daily Haripath, Bhajan, Kakada Aarti, Dindi Parikrama of Dashmi, Kirtan etc) in those villages where the above Sahityais provided and for its uniformity, the Sansthan started ‘Training for Warkaris’.

For this purpose, the students having education from class 8 to 12 and for those who could not continue studies due to poor financial conditions Warkari training is given. For this, the age limit- 16 to 30 years. Free accommodation,foodetcis provided by Shri Sansthan for this training program of one month.

Minimum 10 eligible candidates from the participating Dindies (in three main festivals of Sansthan), are invited for oral interview and thus they are selected for Warkari training program, with date of admission. 

After the successful completion of this training, the candidates are given certificate, scholarship of Rs. 1500/- and other important gifts. 

So far Sansthan has conducted 91 training program for Warkaris and as a result, 4967 successful candidates emerged as Warkaris who are contributing in preserving and promotingWarkari Sampradaya in their respective villages. 

Note:-In this, training program teachers provide training for – Pravachan, Kirtan, Mrudang vadan, singing, Pauli (Vaishnavi Nartan) and moral education.
